Fuel

Today I went to Fuel with Greg for the car gathering. I had their home made biscuit and sausage gravy along with my latte. It was the best I've ever had.

We walked around and I observed everyone chatting about cars. One man arrived in a Pantera and was immediately heckled by his friends/peers as he climbed out of the car. Another guy arrived on a motorcycle, doing a wheelie right as he was in front of Fuel, for all to see. His bike was...I don't know what it was. It looked like a bunch of bikes had been pieced together to make his. We talked with a New Zealander about his new Subaru, which he really really loves. I was astonished by how much comparison information he was full of, talking about all the types and engine sizes and tuning you can do, wheel sizes, HP, etc etc etc.

People are so fascinating, with their interests and knowledge of what they are interested in. I love moments like this, when I can reflect on aspects of people.

I took a picture of an MG, that I simply found cute. Since I got the water colors out the other day, I've been wanting to play around with them more. I would like to draw it on the beach, maybe with a beach babe next to it. :) That one would be about colors. Then I'd also like to draw it with giant stuffed animals somehow. That one would be from my quirky illustration head and because it's a cute car.

Oh and I look forward to running in the warm weather today. Even though I think I'm getting a cold.
