The Weather

I'm pretty excited about this weeknd's break in the weather. It is getting into the upper 40s! I'm looking forward to a nice long run outside, perhaps in one layer! :)

I have found that I can pick something from nearly every season that I love while outside running. Winter is hardest, and perhaps spring is the easiest. Soon the air will smell different as everything starts growing again. I think that is what I notice the most, along with the birds' songs and change in the sky. Sometimes I do wish I lived closer to "nature" or just some kind of nice open area that was quieter and not a neighborhood to run through.

Here's to the speedy arrival of spring.
